The new campus of the Vienna University of Economics and Busienss (www.wu.ac.at) has been opend on October 3, 2013. The by internationally renowned architects designed the campus was built based on a “green building” concept. It represents an important step in the university’s development, and a further milestone toward reaching its goal of further improving its top position among European business schools. Located between two subway stations, the new campus is conveniently accessible by public transportation. The new location will be a university campus that offers both students and faculty ideal conditions for teaching and research. 25,000 students and 1,500 teachers, researchers and administrative staff are working on Campus WU.
