EKC Registration Guideline

General Information

  • Registration fee includes participation, programm book, proceeding, name badge, lunch meals, banquet and coffee breaks during the conference.
  • 17th July (Wed) Dinner: The conference delegates, the members of 9 Korean Scientists and Engineers Associations in Europe and their family members are invited for the welcome dinner at the Venue hosted by EKC 2019.
  • 18th July (Thu) Dinner: All delegates and family members are invited to the closing banquet at The Vienna City Hall.
  • Registration fee does not cover accommodation, so participants are requested to arrange hotel room separately. Special rates for the conference hotel are available and the instruction for hotel booking can be found on EKC 2019 Website Menu – Venue – Accommodation
  • Cancellation of registration or refund requests will be accepted until and on 20 June 2019. No refunds will be given after this date.
  • Please follow the ways of registration for (A) members of local associations or (B) general participants.
  • Early registration deadline is 15 May 2019.

Registration Information

The local associations in Europe (EU-Member) are VeKNI (Germany), KSEAUK (UK), ASCoF (France), KOSEAA (Austria), KOSES (Finland), KSSEA (Sweden, Denmark, and Norway), KOSEANL (Netherlands), KSEAS (Swiss) and KOSEABE (Belgium). These associations’ members are asked to follow the instruction below to register EKC 2019:

  • 2. Go to the registration system and make a registration. A special rate would be applicable for the European association members.
  • 3. Transfer registration fee (including additional costs such as dinner for family, Science school fees, etc.) to the bank account of your local association. Please do not forget to send a copy of the bank transfer proof to the local associations and also upload it to your registration.
  • 4. Your local association will approve your registration based on your bank transfer and your registration inputs.
  • 5. EKC 2019 Administrator will examine your approved registration again. Then, you are able to check your successful registration on the registration system and also a confirmation email will be sent to you.

Registration fees for general participants are:

  • Full conference participation

  • One day participation
    • General participants/ Student participants (participate on 15th or 16th July - Industry forum)
      • Registration on 15th July: 0 EUR
      • Early bird Registration on 16th July: 150 EUR (by Bank Transfer & Credit Card)
      • Registration on 16th July: 200 EUR (by Bank Transfer & Credit Card)
    • General participants/ Student participants (participate on 17th or 18th July)
      • Early bird registration on 17th July: 300 EUR (by Bank Transfer & Credit Card)
      • Early bird registration on 18th July: 300 EUR (by Bank Transfer & Credit Card)
      • Regular registration on 17th July: 350 EUR (by Bank Transfer & Credit Card)

  • 1. You may check total amounts of fee in advance, which includes registration fees of registration and other programmes. This can be checked on the EKC registration system without providing personal information there.
  • 2. Registration fee including additional costs should be transferred to the bank account of main organising association, KOSEAA.

  • 3. If you would like to pay the full registration fee by credit card, you could pay the registration fee via this online payment system.
  • 4. All participants including invited speakers should register on the registration system by uploading bank transfer proof (image, pdf format only) and/or providing with a guest code.
  • 5. EKC 2019 Administrator will examine your registration. You are able to check your successful registration on the registration system and also a confirmation email will be sent to you.
