Fossil World (Fossilienwelt) www.fossilienwelt.at In the unique Museum space, you can view in detail many of the more than 650 fossil species. Life in the sea at that time and the walk on the beach is represented by unique finds, such as shark's teeth, bones of dolphins as well as turtle shells, or a fossilized tree trunk. The star of the museum area and also the sensational discovery of Stetten is the largest pearl-fossil in the world. This pearl is not only the largest but also one of the oldest "shellfish remnants". The two digging areas offer the best conditions for all who are still full of energy after the impressions of the adventure world and want to go explore independently. Of course, you may take your findings from the digging fields with you as a reminder of this unique event.

Vienna Natural History Museum (Naturhistorisches Museum) www.nhm-wien.ac.at The Natural History Museum Vienna is one of the largest, oldest, and most noteworthy natural history museums in the world. The current building was completed in 1889. Today it houses a collection of about 30 million specimens and artifacts; a number of famous and unique objects, such as the 25,000-year-old figure of the “Venus of Willendorf”, an almost complete skeleton of Steller’s Sea Cow, huge dinosaur skeletons, and the largest and oldest meteorite collection in the world.

Aqua Terra Zoo (Haus des Meeres) www.haus-des-meeres.at In the section for terrarium animals you see crocodiles, poisonous snakes, constrictor and saurians. The main attactions of the tropical seawater section are the huge fish tanks, the sharks, sea turtles, many different corals, as well as gorgeous fish. The center of the tropical freshwater is the aquarium containing piranhas.
